Hey there! My name is Alyssa, a 19-year old wandering free spirit made to sail through strange seas, and enjoy life. I’m a certified hopeful romantic, a millennial she-Shakespeare. The things I love most are lazy afternoons, spending time with family, and devouring great eats. When I’m not busy dealing with school stuff, you’d probably find me indulging myself in one of my many hobbies which include reading, painting, binge-watching TV nonstop, biking, road trips, and random whatsoevers that sparks up my fascination! My interests are mainly on history, literature, arts and crafts, environment-saving, and human welfare. I’m not so good with clichés and politics; and am usually shy until I warm up to you and bury you with endless chatter. I laugh hard, and cry when I do. I’m almost always optimistic about almost everything in general—never an Anti, always a Pro. I drive around the city of Cebu, Philippines, and would most likely write about everything I find exciting on my track—minimalism, bright colors, dresses, calligraphy, vintage things, sewing—and all my mini obsessions! I believe in the saying “What you give is what you get.” My main goal in life is to help make this world a better place to live in; by caring more about others than what they can offer in return.

Kindred Spirits,” is a reference I got from one of my favorite books, Anne of Green Gables. By definition, it simply means someone you can relate to. Besides being able to freely express myself, that is another reason why I’m here—to write something noteworthy, as best as I can, that other people may relate to. This blog is always written in the first-person POV—mine alone.

That’s probably all there is to say. The rest of me you can get to know of through my blog posts. Enjoy! See my first blog post.
